WHAT HAPPENS IF WE ARE IN ANOTHER LOCKDOWN?
In the event of another lockdown all events will be postponed until the next possible dates, and you will have a choice between rolling your ticket over or receiving a full refund. This will simply be a click of a button away.
I am self-isolating will I still be able to take part?
We will have various online and virtual events for you to get your teeth into, so have no fear. We also have lots of events all the way up until Halloween so you will absolutely be able to attend events after your isolation period ends.
WILL WE HAVE TO HAVE COVID PASSPORTS?
We've had a number of enquirers regarding Covid Passports and our Freshtival events.
Following the most recent announcements,
we can confirm that, in line with government legislation, Covid passports will not be required to attend any of our events.
We will continue updating you on any changes, so keep an eye out on our social channels and website FAQs.
Covid-19 remains a health risk and you should stay cautious to protect yourself and others. We advise you to continue taking regular lateral flow tests, and please do not attend any events if you have Covid-19 symptoms.
For details on getting fully vaccinated, please visit the government website here:
Stay aware and be kind.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CATCH COVID AT AN EVENT
We have decided as a union to protect all Freshtival and other event tickets this year through a provider called Ticket plan. Just make sure you click the box to add it to your ticket. You may have realised that ticket prices are cheaper than previous years this is so that we can absorb that cost for you!
WILL I GET A REFUND IF I HAVE A POSITIVE COVID TEST?
Yes. This falls under your insurance with Ticket plan. When you purchase your ticket make sure you read all of the T’s&C’s and tick the box to add the insurance to your ticket. Remember, you are not paying any extra as we have deducted it from our previous prices as we wanted to make sure this was covered for you.
WILL I NEED THE COVID VACCINE IN ORDER TO ATTEND?
In accordance with current government guidelines, students will need to prove they have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to be able to enter a nightclub from late September.
With reference to our 'Give it a Go', there are no current restrictions concerning access to these events being contingent on attendees being double jabbed or needing to take a LFT, but we cannot guarantee these will not be in place during Freshers due to the changing and unpredictable nature of the pandemic.
